        very important to detect in the early stages. 

        Cycling the Water:  Your Home Watch Professional will run the water in all sinks, showers, 
        tubs and flush toilets. 

        Bugs:  They should be living outside – not in your home!

        Air Conditioners:  Your HVAC system really works overtime in the tropical climate of Southwest 
        Florida ~ especially in the summer months while your home is vacant.  It must be serviced 
        regularly and filters changed periodically.  The thermostat and de-humidistat should be set 
        properly and adjusted when necessary.

        Exterior Property Check:  There could be an equipment malfunction, storm damage or 
        vandalism.  The pool level, lawn service, etc. is looked after and the condition will be reported.

        Vendors:  Referrals to reliable contractors and a variety of companies is available.

        Concierge Services:  Items like shopping, meeting vendors, taking the car to be serviced, 
        dropping off/picking up dry cleaning and more are offered.  

        Hurricane Protection/Preparedness: Lanai furniture in.  Shutters secured.  And, after a 
        storm it is crucial that property is checked.  Photos may be necessary if there is damage and a 
        claim needs to be filed.  It could be something as simple as a fallen tree or as extensive as water 
        damage, broken windows or a major repair.

        Homeowner’s Insurance:  Some policies state that a homeowner must prove that someone is 
        looking after the property when it is vacant.
